Kuck Mechanical Contractors is hiring Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer/ Tinner to join our growing team!

We are a family-owned mechanical contractor based in Northern Colorado with over 27 years in business. We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, work well with others, and want to grow their careers in commercial HVAC construction.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

As part of our commercial HVAC installation team, you will:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and installation drawings.
• Install ductwork, fittings, hangers, supports, and HVAC equipment components.
• Assist with refrigerant piping installation for VRF and split-system equipment, as assigned.
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Operate sheet metal tools, lifts, and equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely on ladders and elevated platforms.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain safe work practices.
• Ability to report to the Steamboat Springs job site as scheduled and travel to other Colorado project locations as required.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and installing commercial ductwork.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and mechanical codes.
• Experience operating lifts and construction equipment.

Schedule & Work Location

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, typically 8–10 hours
• Current Project Location: Steamboat Springs, Colorado
• Local Steamboat Springs area candidates preferred.

We are primarily seeking candidates who live in or near Steamboat Springs. However, qualified applicants from other areas are encouraged to apply, provided they are willing and able to travel to the project location.

For eligible nonlocal employees, Kuck Mechanical provides company-paid lodging and a daily per diem for qualifying out-of-town assignments.

Kuck Mechanical performs commercial construction projects throughout Colorado, and future assignments may require travel to other locations.
